  • In her free time, Jennifer likes to spend time with her husband, Eric, and their two girls, Landry and Cora. 

  • Jennifer believes in creating an exciting and nurturing environment where students are not afraid to take educational risks. She helps students by giving them the tools they need to unlock their full potential and become a lover of learning!

Kathleen Berry


  • Bachelors Degree in History with an Education Minor -Southern Methodist University

  • Masters Degree in Gifted and Talented-Southern Methodist University

  • State of Texas Certified Teacher (1-8)

  • 21 years teaching experience (3rd grade)

  • 18 years experience in HPISD

  • Bradfield's Teacher of the Year (2011-2012)

  • 10+ years of tutoring experience 1st-6th grades

  • In her free time, Kathleen enjoys spending time with her husband and enjoying the outdoors.

  • Kathleen believes in creating a fun, encouraging, and meaningful learning environment, so that all students will develop a love for learning that lasts a lifetime. 

Kristi Kimple


  • •Masters of Education from SMU with an emphasis on Gifted and Talented Education
    •Bachelor degree from Texas Tech University in Multidisciplinary Studies (Elementary Education)
    •State of Texas Certified Teacher (1-8)
    •24 years of teaching experience (1st grade)
    •18 years experience in HPISD
    •12+ years of tutoring experience (kinder-4th grade)
    •Bradfield’s Teacher of the Year (2015-2016)
    •District & Campus leadership experience 
    •In her free time, Kristi loves to read and spend time with her family, friends, and mini-dachshund Hazel. 
    •Kristi feels her most important job as a teacher, is for her students to feel loved and successful by creating a safe and fun environment for students to learn and take risks. She hopes to pass on a love of learning that her students can take with them throughout their lives. 


Fatima Ruiz


  • Bachelors degree from The University of Texas at Arlington in Political Science. Minor in Spanish. 

  • 1.5 years of teaching experience at HPISD.

  • Current Spanish teacher at Bradfield Elementary

  • Long term substitute at Highland Park High School. Taught Spanish 2PAP and Spanish 4.

  • Spanish Teacher at Bradfield Elementary.

  • In her free time, she enjoys jogging, going on picnics at White Rock Lake and spending time with family and friends. 

  • Fatima believes in the importance of learning a foreign language at an early age; as studies show that it increases the level of language proficiency. She plans on catering to the needs of her students by designing course work necessary for their success while having MUCHO fun.

Kathlyn Lehner


  • Bachelors degree from The University of Texas at Austin in Elementary Education

  • State of Texas certified Elementary Educator (EC-4)

  • 13 years teaching experience (4 years in Richardson ISD, 10 years at Momentous Institute) 

  • Currently a substitute teacher at Momentous Institute

  • Campus leadership experience 

  • In her free time, Kathlyn likes to run, cook, and spend time with her husband, Andrew, and their children, Edward, Lynlea, and Thomas. 

  • Kathlyn believes in building upon students natural curiosities and empowering students with tools to be academically, socially, and emotionally successful.  She believes in creating a learning environment where students can build self-confidence, take risks, and acquire skills that will help them persevere 

Ellen Talley


  • Master's degree from SMU in Gifted and Talented Education

  • Bachelor's degree from UT Austin in Applied Learning and Development (Elem Ed)

  • State of Texas certified elementary teacher

  • 14 years teaching experience (5 years in HPISD)

  • Past Director of Early Childhood Ministry at Saint Michaels and All Angels

  • Current HPISD substitute teacher

  • Mother of 4 HPISD students

  • In her free time, Ellen enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing tennis, and attending her children's sporting events.

  • Ellen believes that every child's potential can be reached if their individual needs are met by a caring, engaging instructor who can make learning fun and meaningful.
