Academic Readiness + Science
Nelita Elliott, PhD, is a passionate math and science educator who helps students build confidence, strengthen their problem-solving skills, and approach learning with curiosity rather than self-judgment. She holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering (Duke University), and a B.Sc. In Chemical Engineering (Florida A&M University). Her experience as an engineer and practicing scientist, enables Dr. E to bring a real-world perspective, analytical thinking, and a deep appreciation for the connections between math, science, and the world around us.
