In her free time, Kristi loves to read and spend time with her family, friends, and mini-dachshund Hazel. 

Kristi feels her most important job as a teacher is for her students to feel loved and successful by creating a safe and fun environment for students to learn and take risks. She hopes to pass on a love of learning that her students can take with them throughout their academic careers and lives.
