Worked extensively with middle and high school students in academic and youth club contexts in Texas, England, and Ohio.
Having worked in the fields of education, ministry, and film production over the past twelve years, I have become increasingly convinced that (1) all aspects of life are interconnected (no matter how disparate they may seem), and (2) everything we study and experience in life shapes and forms us into the people we are becoming. I love teaching English and Writing because at its core, it is learning how to see ourselves, others, and the world with more clarity, which in turn forms us into the kinds of people who think deeply and think well.
In my free time, I enjoy reading good books, exploring new coffee shops, cooking, and staying active, whether that’s weightlifting, volleyball, or pickleball. Though, as an avid indoorsman, I enjoy good tv shows and movies because I love good stories!
