• Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Southern Methodist  University.  

• 15 years in HPISD  

• 2009-2015: Hyer Elementary front office 

• 2016- current: HPHS where I began as an instructional aide in Special Education.  I worked as the assistant to the Section 504 Coordinator and have been the testing coordinator since 2018.  I work primarily with students needing assistance with testing accommodations and assisting with the overall planning and execution of all major testing on campus.  

• I am passionate about teaching students how to advocate for themselves when it comes to their educational needs.   I enjoy strategizing and helping them unlock all their potential by giving them organizational tips, tools and techniques that will hopefully last years beyond the classroom.  I am thrilled to be joining the Academic Coaching Team this year!!  

• I spend most of my free time my kids Jack (21) a senior at The University of Arkansas and my daughter Katelyn (18) a freshman at the University of Oklahoma.
