Speech Evaluations and Private Therapy

Speech and Language Screening:

30 minutes + Parent Discussion

Speech and language screening test in the areas of articulation, receptive, and expressive language. This provides a rapid identification of those preschool children for whom a complete speech and language evaluation is recommended. If further evaluation is warranted, the price of the screener will be applied to the cost of the full evaluation.

Articulation Evaluation:

30 minutes + Parent Discussion

If speech sound production is the only area of concern, this evaluation can be completed along with an oral mechanism examination which examines the functioning of the lips, tongue, and jaw. Assessment results will include recommendations such as whether therapy is warranted, as well as the frequency and length of treatment sessions. A full report with a detailed treatment plan that includes recommendations, goals, and objectives is provided.
